SDMO Energy has launched two new portable welder/generators. The Weldarc 200 and Weldarc 220 offer a maximum 200A welding capacity, plus an auxiliary electricity supply. The former machine has a 4kW single-phase supply, and its sister product offers a three-phase 7.15kVA power output. Both machines are driven by a Kohler CH440 petrol engine which comes with a limited three-year warranty that includes hire fleet products, subject to certain conditions. SDMO says the engine’s large capacity fuel tank enables the sets to run continuously for nearly three hours before refuelling becomes necessary.
